Clayton Custom Cars has closed their doors to make way for a new industry leader:

Eastern Rod and Customs - Award-winning Custom Show Cars

Eastern Rod and Customs.

Here is what is going on: Clayton Custom Cars did an incredible job working on custom cars, and had been doing it for the past 12 years. Clayton Custom Cars began its journey with Frank Mondary in the 1990s and was incorporated in 2000. Leading up to 2006, a combination of successful strategies involving sales of turn-key cars, parts and roller packages made this a thriving business and delivered great products. Frank left the business in 2006, from then on, Clayton Custom Cars experienced a myriad of mismanagement and other issues; sadly, the doors closed in November of 2008.

After working closely with the previous owner of Clayton Custom Cars, Eastern Rod and Customs was born using the same great craftsman under a new owner and management structure. With Eastern Rod and Customs, you will find:

  • Excellent Customer Service
  • A well documented and communicated process
  • Professional project management for all cars
  • Integrity, quality and the highest level of craftsmanship
  • A new location in downtown Raleigh, which is more conveniently located for our traveling customers

In addition to the amazing award winning show cars at Eastern Rod and Customs you can also expect to find a full line of consolidated 41’Willys parts and a new partnership with Thoroughbred Motors bringing you a turn key 1955 Mercedes Gullwing.
